Vilnius Salsa Festival is an international Salsa dance event organized every May since 2007.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
We may collect, store and use the following types of information: • information about you on this website and the website you visit and how you use the website (including your IP address, geographical location, the type of browser you are targeting, the length of time you visit it and the number of pages viewed); • the information you provide to us for the purpose of subscribing to our website services, e-mail notifications and / or newsletters; • any other information you choose to send to us.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Website visitors can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms
Your personal data becomes available to us when you provide it to us by:
- filling in the registration data;
- purchasing goods on our website’
- contacting us via (included but not limited to) e-mail, phone or comment.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
