Magalinskaya aka DJ Mega’n’Sheep is one of the major bachata/kizomba
event organizer and DJ at regular Afro-Latin parties in Minsk. In
February 2011 Lena organized the 1st Belarusian bachata festival in
order to promote bachata and introduce kizomba in Belarus, and from that
time on she actively supports the development of bachata/kizomba
movement by inviting European instructors for conducting seminars, organizing and DJing at Afro-Latin parties.
Listening to bachata and kizomba gradually became an addiction which
has led to complete change in her life. Since 2012 her reputation as a
DJ has been rapidly increasing internationally.
She has worked
at congresses in Minsk, Vilnius, Riga, Moscow, St.Petersburg, Warsaw,
Almaty, Cairo, Oslo, etc. DJ Mega’n’Sheep mostly plays urban bachata,
kizomba/semba/zouk & salsa and her varied sets will keep you dancing
all night long.
Prior to salsa, Rain was a heavy listener and collector of funk, soul,
jazz and Brazilian music. Since getting to dance salsa, he has devoted
himself entirely to this music genre. Rain started deejaying salsaa in
January 2007, first at socials and then gradually in many salsa spots in
Tallinn. Throughout this time, he has been growing with Estonian salsa
scene, learning from it and pushing its
musical boundaries. DJ at the London 2nd Sexy and Sensual Latin Dance
Festival 2010, Latvia Salsa festival since 2010, Tallinn Salsa Festival
2009, 2010 and 2011, Vilnius Salsa festival since 2011, resident DJ at
weekly salsa nights in Tallinn, also resident DJ at big monthly salsa
events in Tallinn. It is with sheer joy and dedication that Rain shares
his love for salsa music and its best/most passionate aspects with all
dancer, he kicks off his Caribbean dances’ career in Italy, with the
cuban teachers who introduce him to the salsa world. He’s soon
fascinated by all forms of dances: afro, tap, swing and jazz are on his
radar, until he falls in love with hip hop. Here he focuses on old
school techniques and he specializes in house dance and new style.
on he collects experiences in Europe and abroad, fine-tuning his
training with the best teachers in London, Paris and New York. In the
Big Apple he discovers a huge passion for mambo thanks to the guidance
of Eddie Torres, and he performs in Los Primos Latinos’ Festival.
Carmine teach salsa and hip hop and he is an all-around dancer with a
unique style, able to combine all influences and disciplines he learnt
in an authentic killer-formula.
Ieva aka Minis started djing officially just 4 year ago, with a
successful guest mix debut on national radio show “Tropical

inspiring dancers with her tender and graceful selections covering
the full spectrum of salsa music.
Wolashie Awadzi aka Theo is the founder of Dance-Drive. He was the UK
IDO Kizomba Champion 2012 as well as the 2012 UKA salsa champion held
in Bolton. His excellent teaching style has earned
him recognition across the globe. His excellent teaching style and
fun workshops have resulted in extensive travel around the world,
teaching at congresses and festivals. In between travels he is based
in Oslo, Norway where he has established the Kizomba scene over the
past few years.
roots from the West African Country of Ghana, Theo’s dancing and
teaching love is not limited to Kizomba, but extends to Semba,
Afro-house, Kuduro and Tarraxinha! He focuses on connection between
partners, footwork, body motion, Ginga and partner work .

Gediminas (aka DJ Salsa Groover). In 2006 Gediminas started selecting
Latin music at the clubs around Lithuania. First five years of his
career Gediminas played only Latin pop and at the same time developed
the passion for to dance, started collecting and listening to salsa, cha
cha cha, bachata, kizomba music. Eventually, he began his party brand
“Golden feet Social” where he played music for social dancers only. “I
always try to mix mambo, pachanga, guaguanco, salsa songs for dancers
who enjoy on1 and on2, sensual and Dominican bachata, boogaloo, cha cha
cha, and kizomba“, claims the DJ.
Grupo Lucumi is a Latin dance group from
Stockholm, Sweden. Versatile dancers with backgrounds in different
styles, dedicated in the Swedish salsa scene, they come together in
their passion for Mambo and Afro Cuban dances. Now they are making
choreographies, teaching and sharing the love for the dance and the
culture. Their numbers incorporate elements from traditional
Afro-Cuban, Modern styles as well as New York mambo – ambition is
always to spread joy and inspiration. Ricardo, Jenny and Gustav are
also working at Stockholm Salsa Dance, performing with their show
Diego Alberto Flores Leon, born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, is an IT student with a burning passion for Latin music. Growing up in a South American family he was always under the influence of Latin rhythms. Diego started his way dancing traditional Bolivian dances and later gained more interest in the Caribbean rhythms, which resulted in him taking his first salsa class in 2016. He currently dances for Stockholm Salsa Dance Alegria and will also perform on stage. DJ LEON is young, ambitious and making a name for himself in the salsa community in Stockholm. He has a mixed taste and will play salsa from different epochs and styles.
