ALEXIS & ISELIN
NORWAY
Alexis Ruiz is a world-class dancer, teacher, musician, and educator with over 30 years of experience in salsa, mambo, and Latin dance. Born in Antigua, Guatemala, he began dancing and teaching at a very young age under his mother’s guidance at Ritmo Latino, and by age 12 was already teaching salsa, mambo, and percussion.
At 17, he moved to Japan, where he opened a dance school, formed a Latin jazz group, and became a salsa ambassador. Later in Norway, he developed his mambo methodology and became known for his lectures on salsa history and musicality.
Today, based in Oslo, Alexis is co-owner of Norway’s only Mambo & Tap dance school, a professional musician and composer, and an international instructor. He continues to tour worldwide with his wife Iselin Ruiz, sharing his approach to rhythm, music, and mambo culture through workshops and performances.
ARCADIA & KONSTANTIN
SWEDEN
Arcadia and Konstantin are a dynamic dance duo based in Stockholm, Sweden, and among the leading ambassadors of Mambo and Salsa in Scandinavia. Originally from Chile and Russia, they met in Stockholm in 2013 and combined their diverse dance backgrounds to create a unique style that blends Latin dance with influences from jazz, hip-hop, street dance, and modern dance.
Known for their musicality, elegance, and expressive performances, they specialize in Mambo and Salsa shows and workshops. Over the years, they have performed and taught at major international events, earning recognition as one of Europe’s most respected Latin dance couples.
Driven by a passion for dance and culture, Arcadia and Konstantin continue to inspire dancers around the world through their artistry, creativity, and dedication to the Mambo and Salsa community.
